Guardianship Assistance Program

It is not uncommon for a senior to be in a nursing facility or group home and have no one to oversee see their care. The CASS Guardianship Assistance Program (GAP) is available for those seniors.  CASS recruits, trains and oversees the work of individuals who serve as a guardian for a senior. These guardians are appointed by the Hamilton County Probate Court and are empowered to make medical and end-of-life decisions for their assigned senior.  For more information about this program, contact the GAP program, 513-559-4488.

Volunteer To Be A Guardian

Be a compassionate advocate for a senior. As a court-appointed Guardian, you would provide the comfort of human contact by visiting a senior twice a month to check on their health and well-being. You would make decisions, including medical, in the senior’s best interest. You would advocate for the senior’s needs and attend quarterly educational meetings. For more information about becoming a Guardian, please contact Laurie Luken at, 513-559-4488.
