Over-the-Rhine Senior Center
For seniors who live downtown and the surrounding areas, the Over-the-Rhine Senior Center is a place they can gather to enjoy activities and fellowship with other seniors. Breakfast and lunch are served along with educational, wellness, and social activities. The Over-the-Rhine Center at 1720 Race Street, just a block from historic Findlay Market, keeps the calendar full to keep seniors engaged and coming back for more. Crafts, tending the center’s garden plot, Bible study, movies, exercise classes, monthly birthday and holiday parties, discussions of current events, regularly scheduled group outings, and annual events like the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade, the Senior Prom, and the Hawaiian Luau are planned by the staff to guarantee there is always something happening.
Newcomers are always welcome at the center and transportation can be provided. If you know of a senior interested in keeping busy, have them join us at our Over-the-Rhine Senior Center for one of our various events by calling (513) 381-3007.
