Thanks to the Josephine Schell Russell Charitable Trust, PNC Bank, Trustee, for a $22,000 grant to replace one of CASS’ Meals-on-Wheels delivery vans. As the largest provider of Meals-on-Wheels in Greater Cincinnati, it is vital that we have the vehicles to continue to deliver Meals to seniors in need. In 2011, CASS delivered more than 350,000 Meals.

CASS Executive Director Tracey Collins recently participated in Xavier University’s “Careers in Aging” panel discussion. The panel was comprised of professionals who work with seniors, and was designed to help individuals interested in pursuing a career in working with the growing senior population.

CASS seniors celebrated the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day at the Over-the-Rhine Senior Center by enjoying lunch, and taking a seat outside to watch the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade. Seniors groups from Price Hill, Hillcrest and Maple Tower joined in the fun at the OTR Center, now an annual tradition.
